Pinot Grigio Le Baccanti

DESCRIPTION
Pinot Grigio, a grape variety of French origin, is most likely a genetic mutation of Pinot Noir.

A very complex variety that requires plenty of care both in terms of cultivation and production area, which must be cold and with suitable soil composition.

The best areas for this type of vine are Friuli Venezia Giulia (especially the Collio area and the Eastern Hills of Friuli), Trentino Alto Adige, Veneto and Lombardy.

The taste of Pinot Grigio differs according to the production area. Consistently cold climate will give the wine excellent body and structure, as well as a velvety and soft flavor. Areas with significant temperature variations will give it a fruity flavor and a strong body.

The color of Pinot Grigio may vary according to the winemaking techniques used.
